What to Do After You Have a Business Idea

The first week after an idea is not branding, it is Clarify proof: buyer, problem, stage read, and one move you will run before you build.

The dangerous week after a business idea is the week you look productive without changing what you know about the buyer.

After the spark: Analyze, then ten conversations, not ten features.

Day 1–2: Stage read, not logo design

Paste a rough paragraph into Analyze. You get:

  • Stage on the six stages
  • Priority gaps
  • One first move

That is enough to cancel work that sounds good but belongs to a later stage.

Run Analyze free.

Day 3–5: Bank proof in Idea Bank

Create the idea in Idea Bank (Pro). Fill the Clarify fields your last Analyze run flagged: buyer, problem, path. Use Avatar when the buyer is still fuzzy.

Day one: Analyze on the messy version. Do the one action before you open another doc.

Day 6–7: One Convert test, not a launch

If Clarify holds, schedule two buyer conversations with a script tied to your offer sketch, not a survey link. Log objections in Idea Bank.
